Lux Typo will be a collaborator in the installation Intersection by Freeways and Super Expo. Greg Lindy will be contributing large scale typographic treatments to be projected on a site- specific building for the Glow festival in September.
About Intersection: Intersection is a visual/interactive/sound experience propelled by large format projections with accompanying sound track. With the corner of Ocean Blvd. and Colorado Ave. as a platform, Intersection cross-pollinates, interacts and explores the possibilities of audience participation, live-action video projections and audio, transforming the west wall of the seven-story Holiday Inn into a site-specific artwork. Through its juxtapositions, Intersection invites the audience into a conversation around the possibilities that the future may hold and the power to re-form our shared spaces.
About Glow: Glow is an all-night cultural experience featuring original commissions by artists who re-imagine Santa Monica Beach as a playground for thoughtful and participatory temporary artworks.

TypoLyrics - The Sound of Fonts
LuxTypo was invited along with other designers from all over the world to take song lyrics and use them as the inspiration for innovative font designs. The result is a collection of fascinating visuals - “typographic images” that present contemporary fonts a little bit differently. Edited by Slanted Magazine, published by Birkhauser.
